Terms and conditions

1, Lee Fields Lodge Hosts 2 adults on a self-catering basis for a minimum booking of 2 consecutive nights
 

2, The website forms part of the contract. Lee Fields Lodge is hired on the express understanding that the log cabin is for holiday use only and that no right to remain in the accommodation exists for the hirer or anyone in the hirer’s party
 

3, All reservations are contractually binding once written confirmation is received. Bookings are only secured once the deposit is received. Unless prior agreed, we may re-advertise the availability on our website up until the deposit is received
 

4, The balance of the hire must be paid 4 weeks before the arrival, otherwise we reserve the right to treat the reservation as cancelled and re-advertise the availability on our website. Payments made by bank transfer and personal UK sterling cheque incur no charges
 

5, Cancellation and alteration policy

(I) In the event of a cancellation more than 6 weeks prior to arrival (after payment of deposit and prior to payment of balance), Lee Fields Lodge will be re-advertised as available. If the lodge is re-let, then the deposit will be refunded in full. If we are unable to re-let the deposit is non-refundable.   
(II) In the event of a cancellation less than 4 weeks prior to arrival (following payment of the balance),  Lee Fields Lodge will be re-advertised as available, if the lodge is re-let at the original advertised price, the deposit and balance will be paid back in full. If we are unable to re-let the lodge, the balance payment will be refunded.                                                                                                          
(III) If a request for a change of dates more than 6 weeks prior to arrival (after payment of deposit and prior to payment of balance), the booking will be transferred to the new date (subject to availability) and the deposit will be transferred in full to the new booking date.                                            
(IV) If a request for a change of dates less than 4 weeks prior to arrival (after payment of deposit and balance) the policy in point 5 (II) above applies.            (V) All refunds will be reimbursed immediately after the departure date of original reservation.      

(VI) If a holiday period is reduced, for whatever reason, the hirer remains liable for the full balance already paid.
 

6, Lee Fields Lodge does not accept dogs or pets.
 

7, The number of persons using Lee Fields Lodge is not to exceed 2 adults, unless by prior arrangement. No inflatable beds in the lodge or camping on the grounds of Lee Fields is allowed.
 

8, Unless by prior arrangement, Lee Fields Lodge is available from 3pm on arrival day until 10am on departure day.
 

9, Care of Lee Fields Lodge. We undertake to make the lodge available to the hirer in a clean and tidy state and to maintain services and facilities in a proper workable condition.
(I) It is the hirer’s responsibility to read and understand the contents of Lee Field Lodges guide on arrival.
(II) The hirer undertakes to inform the owner or caretaker immediately of any articles that have been damaged, lost or broken during their stay.

(III) The hirer is responsible for the care and insurance of their own personal effects.
(IV) The hirer and guest will ensure that the lodge is vacated on time and the lodge is left in a truly clean and tidy state.

 

10, the owner and/or caretaker is allowed access at any reasonable time during your stay.

11, Lee Fields Lodge reserve the right not to accept a booking or to refuse entry if any of the booking conditions are not met.

12, Lee Fields Lodge is strictly no smoking, vaping or e-cigarettes.

13, Complaints. Our policy is to deal with complaints as soon as they arise, both promptly and in a positive manner. If something goes wrong, or you wish to give feedback or raise a complaint, please contact us immediately as it is difficult to investigate or deal with issues or complaints once you have returned home. Therefore, regrettably, Lee Fields Lodge is unable to accept complaints or claims once a holiday is completed.

14, The use of Lee Fields Lodge and any facilities is entirely at the risk of the hirer and their guest. No liability is accepted for loss, damage, sickness or injury, howsoever caused, which may be sustained to any member of the party, any car and its contents or any possessions of the party. The hirer is responsible for ensuring that their guest are fully aware of all booking conditions and have appropriate holiday insurance in place.

15, We reserve the right to share details with other accommodation providers of those guests who do not respect the property or show disregard to the terms and conditions set out above.
